The reading. Section 1 of 7.

Basic Numerology

I take your birth date and your full name and read three numbers from them: the one you are born with, the one your name adds, and the one this year is running.

I derive three numbers from your birth data. The life path number comes from your date of birth and is usually treated as fixed: it describes your temperament and the shape your life tends to take. The destiny number, sometimes called the name number, comes from the letters of your full birth name and describes the direction you are pointed. The personal year number is a single digit running January to December of this year, and it names the theme of the year ahead. I build the reading around the relationship between the first two, because that is where the interpretation lives.

The life path number is calculated from your date of birth only. Descriptions of a number generalise to the number, not to the person. A reading adds the destiny number, the personal year and the actual questions you bring.

Master numbers 11, 22 and 33

Three totals stop the reduction instead of collapsing to a single digit.
11

Master Intuition

Reduced to 2 in most readings, but kept as 11 when the intuition and the sensitivity are both unusually strong. Linked to illumination, teaching and inspiration.

22

Master Builder

Reduced to 4 in most readings, but kept as 22 when the practical ambition and the structural ability both point to building something that lasts. Linked to large-scale work.

33

Master Teacher

Reduced to 6 in most readings, but kept as 33 when the nurturing instinct and the sense of mission combine. Linked to service, teaching and healing.

How I run a numerology session

The session opens by establishing your inputs. Because the destiny number is calculated from the letters of your name, I use your birth name with the exact spelling and capitalisation on your birth certificate. A middle name, a spelling variant or a shortened form changes the result, and it is the single most common reason two numerologists return different numbers from the same birth date.

I then calculate three values: the life path number from your date of birth, the destiny number from your name, and the personal year number for the current year. The reading is built around the relationship between the first two, because that relationship, rather than either value alone, is what the interpretation is drawn from.

The last part of the session is yours. I ask what you actually want to know before I start, because a life path number read against a specific question produces a far more useful result than the same number read in the abstract. You will receive a written summary of the session afterwards, and follow-up questions by email are included.

What numerology will not do is forecast specific events. A numerological reading describes a temperament and a set of recurring cycles. It is a structured way to think about your own patterns, and it is worth taking seriously on those terms, which is different from treating it as prediction.

Questions people actually ask

The same answers appear in the site's machine-readable files, so an assistant reading this page and an assistant reading llms-full.txt get the same thing.

How is a life path number calculated?
Add every digit of your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format and keep reducing the total to a single digit, except for the master numbers 11, 22 and 33. For a birth date of 15/03/1990: 1+5+0+3+1+9+9+0 = 28, then 2+8 = 10, then 1+0 = 1. The life path number is 1. Note that this is the standard Pythagorean reduction; other numerology traditions weight the day and month differently, which is why two numerologists can return different numbers from the same birth date.
What is the difference between a life path number and a destiny number?
The life path number comes from your birth date and is generally treated as fixed, describing your underlying temperament and the shape of your life. The destiny number, also called the name number, comes from the letters of your full birth name and describes the direction you are oriented toward. They are two separate calculations from two separate inputs, and in numerology they are expected to either agree or sit in a workable relationship with each other. A large gap between them is what the name correction service addresses.
What are the master numbers 11, 22 and 33?
11, 22 and 33 are the master numbers. Under standard reduction rules they would be reduced further to 2, 4 and 6, but the convention in most Western numerology traditions is to keep them intact when the qualities they represent are both present in the chart. 11 is read as heightened intuition, 22 as the master builder, and 33 as the master teacher. Practices differ on when to keep them, so if a reading gives you 11 you should ask whether it was kept as 11 or reduced to 2.
Can numerology predict my future?
No, and it would be dishonest of us to say otherwise. Numerology describes a temperament and a set of recurring cycles; it does not forecast specific events. What it is genuinely useful for is the personal year number, which runs January to December and names the theme of the year ahead. It can also make a pattern visible to you that you were not previously seeing. Anything beyond that should be treated as perspective, not prediction.
What do I need to provide for a numerology reading?
Your full birth name, spelled and capitalised exactly as it appears on your birth certificate, and your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY. The exact spelling matters because the destiny number is calculated from the letters, so a middle name or a spelling variant changes the result. If you have specific questions about a career, a relationship or a decision, list them before the session so they can be addressed.

Before you book: what a reading cannot do

Numerology and astrology are traditional systems of self-reflection, not validated prediction, and I do not read them as anything more than that. Nothing I give you is medical, legal, psychological or financial advice. I do not quote an accuracy percentage, because one without a defined method means nothing, and I have not run the study that would make one honest.
